FC 25: EA FC 25 Loses Licensing Rights to Major European Clubs

EA Sports has recently lost the licensing rights to a series of top clubs after signing partnerships elsewhere. EA FC 25 has lost the licensing rights to another major European club, and players have been dealt a big blow.

A total of four Serie A clubs have not been properly featured in EA FC 24 due to being exclusive to eFootball (formerly known as Pro Evolution Soccer). Currently, Lazio, Napoli, Roma, and Atalanta are not licensed, and although the player names remain the same, they must adopt slightly different names and wear alternative jerseys.

This has also happened before with Juventus, who reverted to their iconic name after a period as Piedmont Football Club. But the latest leak seems to indicate that Inter Milan will also be one of the top teams not licensed. The source of the news comes from the Twitter account, which posted a screenshot of the upcoming EA FC 25 game, in which Inter Milan is listed as "Milano Calcio", but the team logo and uniforms are different. Most likely, it is because they are about to reach an official agreement with Konami.
